Who We Are & What We Do

We are a collective organizing for equitable mental health care and crisis response.

We envision the following disruptive actions in our work for abolition of institutions perpetuating systematic oppression:

1. Bring together New Haven residents for conversations on our desires for healing and support outside of the carceral system, centering those with lived experience with mental health struggles.

2. Engage in conversations with like-minded community organizations regarding the course of mental health service provision in the City of New Haven.

3. Advocate for healing in our community through engagement with decision-makers at city and state levels to influence how non-police crisis intervention programs are designed.

4. Plant the seeds and share our vision for how we as New Haven residents can reclaim our power through creating transformative practices of healing together.
